About the Shop

Nice Knobs! is a division of Smith Woodworks and Design and a supplier of “hard-to-find and easy-to-love” wood knobs and pulls for cabinets and furniture. All our products are sold unfinished, to allow for an endless variety of finishes and colors.

Nice Knobs! was founded in 1989 to fill a need for well-crafted wood knobs and pulls, in well-designed shapes, styles, and sizes. The singular beauty and warmth of natural wood, in a wide variety of wood species is a hallmark of our knob and pulls. Our comprehensive collection of knobs and pulls has grown to cover different aesthetic and historic styles, from traditional to modern.

Wood knobs and pulls are conveniently accessible here in any quantity –single “samples”, small quantities for completing one piece of furniture or job, or large quantities in the hundreds for the professional woodworker, retailer, or distributor.

We draw upon more than 30 years of experience in woodworking and design through our Special Orders/Custom Design services.
