Inserts are (zinc) metal cylinder pieces, 3/8" in length, which are threaded on the outside and inside. The outside thread is for installing the insert into the center base of the knobs or pulls. The inside thread is for receiving a machine screw used for mounting the pull or knob. The price includes the installation + break-off machine screw.
Installation of inserts is available for the majority of our knobs and pulls which do not come with inserts.
Please order the number of inserts that correspond with the number of knobs/pulls (in the same order). The knobs/pulls will be delivered with the inserts installed.
Extra break-off machine screws that fit these inserts are available -- please order them separately.
